LEE, Mass. -- Mitchell Hall carded a 40 on Thursday at Greenock to lead the Taconic golf team to a 172-189 win over Lee.

Cam LaFerriere finished at 41 for the Thunder, which improved to 2-0. LaFerriere's day included a birdie on the par-4 fourth hole.

Ayden Anderson also birdied the fourth hole on his way to a 46 for Taconic.

"The Thunder were ready to roll once we got off the bus," Taconic coach Matt Capeless said. "I had a good feeling on the way to the match that we were going to win. We have had a lot of positive energy on our team this season. ... We have been having some really competitive practices so it’s great to be able to see it translate into two straight wins to start the season.

"We have had a different [leader] in both of our wins so far, but three of our four scorers scored in both of our matches. Ayden Anderson missed the last match because he was feeling under the weather so it was great to be able to have him out there in a match today."

Joey Abderhalden earned medalist honors with a 39 that included another birdie on No. 4 David Carlino and John Brighenti each carded a 46 for the Wildcats (0-2), who entered four golfers.

Lee hosts Monument Mountain on Tuesday, while Taconic hosts Hoosac Valley.

Taconic (172): Mitch Hall 40; Cam Laferriere 41; Jason Fields 45; Ayden Anderson 46; Cam Harrington- 51; Matt Dupuis 54.
