Taconic Boys Pick Up Two Dual Wins
PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Collin Norton Thursday led the Taconic boys cross country team to a pair of wins at Berkshire Community College.
Norton hit the finish line in 17 minutes, 18 seconds to finish 46 seconds ahead of the field and lead the Thunder to dual meet wins over Lee and Mount Everett.
Quinn Ives, Cameron Reynolds and Nick Martinez backed up Norton, finishing third through fifth, respectively, in the three-team meet.
Mount Everett was led by Ben Vella, who finished second. Noah Hassmer led Lee, placing seventh.
Lee’s girls beat Taconic in their dual meet as the Wildcats took places four through 13 in the meet, led by Zoe Mertinooke in fourth place.
Taconic’s girls beat Mount Everett behind a 1-2 finish from Madeline Harrington and Elise Maturervich.
Abigail Reiners placed third to lead the Eagles.
