Taconic Competes at Western Mass Championships

LUDLOW, Mass. – Longmeadow’s Wesley Paine Tuesday fired a 6-under-par round of 66 to lead the Lancers to the Division 1 Western Massachusetts team title at Ludlow Country Club.

 

Paine had an eagle, four birdies and no bogeys in finishing eight strokes ahead of the field.

 

Taconic placed 10th in the team competition. 

 

The Thunder was led by Jason Fields, who birdied the 293-yard, par-4 fourth hole en route to a 16-over 88 that tied him for 29th in the field.
