Taconic Earns Road Shutout Win

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Ethan Bishop scored the game-winning goal, and Joseph Schneider posted a shutout as the Taconic hockey team beat Easthampton, 2-0, on Saturday night.

 

Johnny Ireland notched an empty-net goal to seal the win.

 

Alex Jerebtsov earned an assist.

 

Taconic (2-4) takes a two-game winning streak into Wednesday's home game at the Boys and Girls Club against Agawam, a team the Thunder beat, 5-3, on the road on New Year's Day.
