Hillman, Mount Greylock Golfers Go to 8-0

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Jacob Hillman Friday carded a 3-over-par 38 at Berkshire Hills Country Club to share medalist honors and lead the Mount Greylock golf team to a 161-184 win over Taconic.

 

Hillman birdied the par-3 third hole and par-4 fourth.

 

He ended up sharing low-round honors with Taconic’s Charley Driscoll, who birdied the par-4 sixth hole on his way to a 38.

 

The day’s other birdie came from Mount Greylock’s Tanner Taylor, also on No. 6, as he finished one stroke behind the leaders at 39.

 

Max Wied (41) helped round out the scoring for the Mounties along with Kai Nafziger and Odin Wojtkowski, who each finished at 43.

 

The Mounties (8-0) travels to play Lee on Tuesday.

 

Taconic (2-5) is at Wyantenuck to play Monument Mountain and Mount Everett on Monday.
