Taconic Golfers Top Lenox

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Mike Kays carded a 3-over-par round of 38 on the front nine at Berkshire HIlls Country Club on Thursday to lead the Taconic golf team to a 166-183 win over Lenox.

 

Kays birdied the par-5 fourth hole on his way to earning medalist honors.

 

Taconic also used scores from Brent Arseneau (42), Ross Omelenchuck (43) and Tim Curry (43). Omelenchuck birdied the fourth hole. Arseneau birdied the par-3 third hole.

 

No. 4 was good to several golfers on Thursday. Lenox’s Noah Hunter also birdied the hole on the way to a 44. Matt Shields led the Millionaires with a 42.

 

Taconic will put its unbeaten record on the line Tuesday when it goes to Wahconah.
