Field Leads Hoosac Valley Golfers Past Mount Everett

ADAMS, Mass. – Frank Field earned medalist honors Tuesday to lead the Hoosac Valley golf team to a 174-215 win over Mount Everett.
 
Field finished at 3-over-par 37, and the Hurricanes placed four other finishers in the 40s in improving to 3-3 this fall.
 
“Windy day at Forest Park today and the scores were higher than I like, but they pulled out the win,” Hoosac Valley coach Jason Sniezek said. “Great effort by Frank Field with a 37.”
 
Nick Pompi started his day with a birdie on the par-4 first hole. Gabe Bishop ended his with a three on the par-4 ninth.
 
Simon Fife carded a 47 to lead Mount Everett (0-4), which hosts Mount Greylock on Wednesday.
 
Hoosac Valley hosts Lee on Thursday.
