Wahconah Unified Squad Shines at State Championships

NATICK, Mass. -- Wahconah's Logan Shannon, Ari Williams and Alex Washburn brought home gold medals from Wednesday's Unified Track and Field State Championships at Natick High School.
 
Shannon put the shot 27 feet, 9 inches, to take first place in his division.
 
Williams won her long jump group with a mark of 2 feet, 9 inches.
 
Washburn ran the 800 meters in 3:22.61 to finish just ahead of teammate Josh Burrows (3:37.78) in their division.
 
Wahconah's Colton Jennings brought back two silver medals from the state meet after placing second in the 800 and the javelin.

Long jump: Anthony Redd, 3rd, 9-9; Lilly Penna, 6th, 9-3.
Shot put: Hayden Robb, 2nd, 8-11.
