Wahconah Gets Senior Night Win over Lenox

DALTON, Mass. – Wahconah senior McKenzie LaBier recorded 22 kills Thursday to lead her team to a four-set Senior Night win over Lenox.
 
LaBier also had 10 blocks in the 19-25, 25-17, 25-10, 25-20 victory.
 
Megan O’Bryan had 10 kills, and Sasha Fyfe recorded 20 digs and three aces.
 
Kelsey Kirchner led Lenox with 11 kills and a pair of blocks. Haile Armold had nine kills and 22 digs.
 
Captains Kelly Nicotra and Anna Nealon had 29 assists and 16 digs, respectively, for the Millionaires.
 
“We gave them our best game tonight for sure,” Lenox coach Steve Laurin said. “I don’t believe any of the Lenox squad walked away feeling like they could’ve done better.”
 
Wahconah (17-1) learns Monday who it will face in the first round of the Western Massachusetts tournament.
 
Lenox (7-10) goes to Lee on Saturday.
