LaBier Leads Team Offensive Effort as Wahconah Sweeps into Sweet 16

DALTON, Mass. -- McKenzie LaBier had 12 kills Saturday to lead the Wahconah volleyball team to a three-set win over East Bridgewater in the Division 4 State Tournament.
 
LaBier also recorded five blocks in the 25-18, 25-18, 25-19 win.
 
Jennah Bird passed out 13 assists as Wahconah got offense from a lot of places with kills from LaBier, Olivia Mason, Ava Rose and Eva Jacinto.
 
Bird also just missed a double-double with nine digs.
 
Sasha Fyfe pulled up 22 digs to go with four aces.
 
Katie McCormack served six aces.
 
Ninth-seeded Wahconah moves on to the Round of 16 this week at No. 8 Medway, a winner over Monument Mountain on Saturday.
