Wahconah Swimmers Open at Taconic Hills

CRARYVILLE, N.Y. – Ella Reardon and Sarah Curri each won an event Friday in the Wahconah swim team’s season-opening meet at Taconic Hills.
 
The hosts took a 92-75 win in the girls meet while Wahconah’s boys won 88-0 with Taconic Hills not entering a swimmer in the competition.
 
For Wahconah’s girls, Curti won the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 37.58 seconds. Reardon took the 50 free in 30.14.
 
Both swam a leg on Wahconah’s victorious 4-by-100 free relay quartet, along with Sarah Kunzmann and Elizabeth Wheeler.
 
For Wahconah’s boys, Aiden Aldrich and Artois Sancho each was a double-winner.
 
Aldrich won the 50 free (29.76) and 500 free (8:16.86). Sancho won the 200 individual medley (3:04.64) and 100 breaststroke (1:28.37).
