Pittsfield Girls, Wahconah Boys Victorious at Boys and Girls Club

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Four Pittsfield girls were double-winners Thursday to lead the Generals to a 70-24 win over Wahconah at the Boys and Girls Club.
 
Kiera Devine won the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 14.44 seconds and the 500 free 6:07.00.
 
Hailey Rumlow won the 200 individual medley (2:37.78) and 100 breaststroke (1:25.22). Jackie Roccabruna took the 50 free (27.50) 100 free (59.69). And Riley Steinman won the 100 butterfly (1:13.32) and 100 backstroke (1:11.65).
 
For Wahconah, Elizabeth Wheeler, Sarah Curti, Sarah Kunzmann and Ella Reardon teamed up to win the 200 free relay in 2:04.15.
 
Wahconah’s boys won their dual meet, 48-38, behind wins from Riley Gladu in the 200 free (2:43.09) and Liam Looney in the 100 free (1:04.22).
 
Pittsfield’s boys got two wins apiece from Asa Chard, Joseph Kearns and James Swanton.
 
Chard won the IM (2:37.96) and breaststroke (1:20.03). Kearns won the 50 free (27.08) and 500 free (6:07.53). Swanton won the butterfly (1:05.50) and backstroke (1:14.82).
