Coody, Mount Greylock Volleyball Run Away with Four-Set Win

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Charlotte Coody served 21 straight points, including eight aces, to give the Mount Greylock volleyball team a runaway fourth-set win in what had been a very tight match against Easthampton.
 
Coody finished with 16 aces and 31 assists in the 25-18, 25-23, 24-26, 25-2 win.
 
In the second set, Easthampton led, 23-21 before Takiera Darrow (10 kills) got a kill off a set from Coody to pull Mount Greylock within a point.
 
From there, Darrow served an ace and Celina Savage (14 kills) made one of her three blocks to set up set point. Darrow won the set on an ace.
 
In the third, the two sides traded points back and forth before Easthampton pulled out the narrow win.
 
Kylie Sweren served eight aces and passed out three assists.
 
Mount Greylock (5-0) hosts Pittsfield on Friday.
