Mount Greylock Girls, Boys Win at Hoosac Valley

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Kate Swann and Chase Hoey won a pair of events apiece Friday to lead the Mount Greylock girls track and field team to a dual meet win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Swann won the 800 and the mile on the track.

 

In the field, Hoey took the high jump and the triple jump.

 

The Mounties beat the Hurricanes, 86-55, despite three wins by Hoosac Valley’s Lilly Boudreau, who swept the sprints.

 

Hoosac Valley’s girls also got a pair of wins from Gabby Billetz, who took the shot put and the discus.

 

Mount Greylock’s boys took a commanding 127-14 win in their dual meet.

 

Jack Catelotti and Jenner Kittle each won a pair of events for Mount Greylock.

 

Catelotti swept the 100 and 200. Kittle won the high jump and the javelin.

 

Hoosac Valley’s Justin Levesque took first in the mile and the two mile.
