WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Tate Carothers and Josh Perrier battled to three-set singles wins to give the Mount Greylock boys tennis team a 3-2 win over previously unbeaten Lee on Monday afternoon.

The Wildcats girls, meanwhile, took a 3-2 win from the Mounties to win the season series, 2-1.

Mount Greylock's boys (7-3), who dropped a pair of 5-0 decisions to the Wildcats (9-1) in their first two meetings, got a straight-set win at second doubles from Adriel Benko and Luca Hirsch to clinch the team competition.

Lee's girls took points at first and second singles with wins by Rachel Wendling and Caroline Maloney, the latter surviving a three-setter against Mia Patrick.
