Mount Greylock Girls, Boys Earn Three Dual Wins Apiece
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Chase Doyle won a pair of events Friday to lead the Mount Greylock boys track and field team to three dual meet wins on Williams College’s Lee Track.
Doyle took first in the 110-meter hurdles and the high jump to help the Mounties earn wins over Hoosac Valley, Lenox and Wahconah.
Lenox’s Ian Bridges had a big day for the Millionaires, taking first in three events: the 400, long jump and triple jump.
For Wahconah’s boys, who took a dual meet win over Lenox, Payton Shippee won the 200 and the discus.
Mount Gryelock’s girls rolled to three dual meet wins behind double winners Maggie Nichols and Chase Hoey.
Nichols swept the 100 and 200. Hoey won the high jump and triple jump.
Lenox’s Alice Culver won the 800 and 1600 in leading the Millionaires to a win over Wahconah.
