Mount Greylock Girls, Boys Down Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. – Four Mount Greylock girls were double-winners, and the Mounties took first in every event Wednesday in a dominating dual meet win against Wahconah.

 

Teresa Moresi won the 100 meter dash and the long jump, Brenna Lopez took the mile and half-mile runs, Ani KoaMaya won the 400 and high jump, and Coralea Lash-St. John swept the hurdles as Mount Greylock took a 129-12 win.

 

The Mounties’ boys won 104-37 behind Mason Canata, Finn Voisin, Nathan Gill and Ward Bianchi, who took two wins apiece.

 

Canata doubled in the 100 and 200. Voisin won the mile and 2-mile. Gill swept the hurdles. And Bianchi won the shot put and javelin.

 

Wahconah’s boys got three wins from Cooper Calvert, who cleared 6 feet, 5 inches in the high jump and took first in both horizontal jumps by at least two feet.
