Mount Greylock Girls, Boys Sweep Spartans
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Mount Greylock senior Charlotte Towler Friday earned a 6-0, 6-0 win on Senior Day as the Mounties defeated Monument Mountain, 5-0.
Both the Mount Greylock boys and girls swept the Spartans with straight-set wins.
The closest match of the day came at first doubles in the boys match, where Monument Mountain’s Everett Burns and Miles Carpenter pushed Walter Love and Nico McWeeny, who prevailed, 6-2, 7-5.
Mount Greylock’s boys (10-0) host Lenox on Saturday. The Mounties’ girls (7-3) go to Greenfield on Monday.
