Mount Greylock Golfers Finish Strong in Win at Lenox

LENOX, Mass. – The Mount Greylock golf team Thursday took advantage of the ninth hole at Wyndhurst to break open a close match and earn a 156-165 win over Lenox.

 

The top four finishers for the Mounties combined to go 5-under-par on the par-5 finishing hole. Lenox’s top four combined to go 3-over in the same stretch.

 

Mount Greylock’s Jacob Hillman and Lenox’s Mia Freeman tied for medalist honors, each carding a 37.

 

Kai Nafziger and Max Wied each finished at 39, and Oden Wojtkowski rounded out Mount Greylock’s scoring with a 41.

 

The Mounties (5-0) head to Hoosac Valley on Monday.

 

Lenox (2-1) hosts Lee next Thursday.
