Mounties Top Pittsfield at Waubeeka

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Mount Greylock’s Max Wied Thursday carded a 38 on the back nine at Waubeeka Golf Links to share medalist honors and lead the Mounties to a 162-190 win over Pittsfield.

 

Weid tied for the lead with Pittsfield’s Jason Fields, who birdied the par-4 11th hole.

 

Three Mounties recorded birdies.

 

Tanner Taylor one-putted to break par on the par-3 14th hole. Kai Nafizger and Rodric Rustay each recorded a four on the par-5 17th.

 

Mount Greylock (9-0) is at Wahconah on Tuesday.

 

Pittsfield (5-3-1) hosts Monument Mountain on Monday.
