Mounties Top Lenox to Stay Unbeaten

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Ninth-grader Kai Nafziger carded a 1-under 34 Thursday on the back nine at Waubeeka Golf Links to lead the Mount Greylock golf team to a 154-166 win over Lenox.
 
Nafziger birdied two par-4s, No. 12 and No. 18, on his way to earning medalist honors.
 
Jacob Hillman birdied the par-3 16th hole on his way to a 38. Max Wied, who also scored for the Mounties with a 42, birdied No. 15, a par-5.
 
Lenox was led by Mia Freeman, who finished at 38.
 
Oliver Kirby and Katie Shove each had a birdie for the Millionaires, on Nos. 17 and 16, respectively.
 
Lenox (8-2) hosts Mount Everett on Friday.
 
Mount Greylock improved to 12-0 with four dual matches left on its schedule. The Mounties tee off next at home on Monday against Hoosac Valley.
