Mount Greylock Wins Tie-Breaker to Stay Unbeaten

STAMFORD, Vt. -- The Mount Greylock golf team edged Drury in a tie-breaker on Thursday at Stamford Valley Golf course to remain undefeated this fall.
 
The Drury Blue Devils golf team was handed it's third loss of the season in a tie-breaking match that lead to Mt.Greylock taking the win and advancing to 4-0 for the season in Thursday afternoon's match at Stamford Valley Golf Course.
 
The two teams were tied with scores of 159; Greylock (4-0) took the win with a score of 42 from Bennett Zimmerman over Drury's next lowest of 48 from Jude Collins.
 
There were co-medalists for the match with Greylock's Matt Wiseman and Drury's Nick Boulger each recording a score of 36. 
 
Wiseman totaled one birdie and Boulger had three.
 
Chad Lawrence (39), Connor Kelly (41), and Nick Bator (43) also scored for the Blue Devils (0-3).
 
For Greylock, Lily Crolius (41), Ben Gilooly (40), and Kyle Alverez (42) rounded out the scoring.
 
Mount Greylock hosts Wahconah Monday at 3:30 at Waubeeka Golf Links, and Drury plays Hoosac Valley Wednesday at Forest Park Country Club.
