St. Joe Girls, Boys Beat Wahconah

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Liz Bernardy and Jessie Tobin each won two events to lead the St. Joseph girls swimming team to a 101-69 win over Wahconah on Wednesday at the YMCA.
 
Bernardy won the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 22 seconds and the 500 free in 5:12.6.
 
Tobin won the 200 individual medley in 2:37.3 and the 100 free in 1:05.7.
 
St. Joe also got wins from Theresa Kirsimagi in he 100 butterfly (1:18.6) and Emma Whitney in the 100 backstroke (1:16.8).
 
Wahconah's Michaela DeFoe won the 50 free (31.2), and Lucy Sears won the 100 breast stroke (1:35.6).
 
In the boys meet, Artem Dudka posted two wins to lead St. Joseph to a 65-22 win over Wahconah.
 
Dudka won the 200 free (2:22.7) and the 100 fly (1:16.4), and St. Joe got wins from Michah Tassone in the 200 IM (2:18.3) and Kyle Morehouse in the 100 breaststroke (1:40.0.
 
Wahconah's Miles Cramer took first in the 100 free (1:03.5) and the 100 back (1:19.5).
