Monument Mountain, Mount Everett Golfers Each Earn Home Win

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Luke Naventi carded a 4-over-par round of 40 at Wyantenuck Country Club to lead the Monument Mountain golf team to a 180-192 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

The Hurricanes also faced off against Mount Everett, which pulled out a 189-192 win behind Johnny Ireland’s 43.

 

Zach Mongeon led the Hurricanes with a 45.

 

For the Spartans, Kasen Raifstanger birdied the par-4 sixth hole. Mount Everett’s Finn Vion birdied the par-4 10th hole, which is used as a finishing hole in high school matches.

 

The Spartans are at Taconic on Tuesday.

 

Mount Everett hosts Wahconah on Wednesday.
