Monument Mountain Boys Tennis Edges Lenox
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Peter Stoepker survived a three-set match at first singles, and the Monument Mountain boys tennis team swept the doubles points to earn a 3-2 win over Lenox on Thursday.
Stoepker earned a 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 win over Aydan Shove to provide the difference in the match.
The Spartans’ doubles tandems of Everett Burns/Miles Carpenter and Lukas Carbonell/Carlson Sutherland breezed to wins, dropping one game in their combined four sets.
Monument Mountain (2-3) hosts Belchertown on Monday.
Lenox (4-2) goes to Belchertown on April 24.
