Monument Mountain Wrestlers Top Taconic
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Shamall Schoonmaker earned a pin in 18 seconds at 195 pounds to highlight Monument Mountain’s 48-34 win over Taconic on Wednesday night.
The Spartans recorded eight pins on the night, including Max Buffoni (113), Curt Wilton (126), Alex Leonard (138), Nate Cormier (145), Sean Shaeffer (182), John Field (220) and Kadin Shafiroff (285).
Taconic got pins from Mike La (106), Zach Matthews (120), Zabion Powell (132) and Dillon Burke (160).
Taconic goes to the Wayland Tournament on Saturday.
