Pittsfield Volleyball Team Tops Wahconah in Five Sets

DALTON, Mass. -- Marie Butler had 20 kills Monday as the Pittsfield volleyball team outlasted Wahconah for a five-set victory.
 
The Generals took the first two sets, each by a score of 25-18, before Wahconah turned the tide with a pair of 25-23 wins in sets three and four.
 
Pittsfield pulled away in the tie-breaker, though, taking the match 25-18, 25-18, 23-25, 23-25, 15-4.
 
Jasmyn Roark-Sommersall' had four kills, and Maggie Burke notched four digs and 14 assists for the Generals.
 
Wahconah was led by Kaylee O’Bryan and Kassidy Krejmas with 10 and eight kills, respectively.
 
O’Bryan also had 11 digs and a team-high 14 assists. Meghan Doane had a team-high 12 digs in the loss.
 
Wahconah hosts Taconic on Thursday.
