Pittsfield Boys, Girls Earn Dual Meet Wins

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Dominique Billups won a pair of events Monday to lead the Pittsfield boys track and field team to a pair of wins in a three-team meet at Hoosac Valley.

Billups won the 200 meter dash and 110-meter hurdles for the Generals, who picked up wins over Lenox and Hoosac Valley.

In the girls meet, Pittsfield’s Dezerea Powell paced her team to a 2-0 day in dual competition.

Powell swept the 100 and 200 and won the long jump on her own. She also ran a leg on Pittsfield’s winning 4-by-100 relay quartet.
