Pittsfield Boys, Girls Win on Senior Day

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Pittsfield’s Joey Kearns and Liam Probine each won a pair of events on Tuesday to lead the Generals to a 39-30 win over Taconic on Pittsfield’s Senior Day at the Boys and Girls Club.

 

Kearns won the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 freestyle. Probine won the 50 free and 100 backstroke.

 

Taconic got a pair of wins from Hunter Gangell, who touched first in the 200 free and 500 free.

 

Pittsfield’s girls won, 72-5, in their dual meet against Taconic.

 

Ari Berard, Taryn Griffin and Maggie Vittum each won a pair of events for the Generals.

 

Berard took the 200 free and 500 free. Griffin won the 200 IM and 100 butterfly. Vittum won the 50 free and 100 backstroke.
