Pittsfield Girls, Boys Swim Past Wahconah

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Three Pittsfield girls were double winners Friday as the Generals defeated Wahconah, 122-145, at the YMCA.
 
Szofia Lewis won the 200-meter individual medley in 2 minutes, 49.60 seconds and the 100 breaststroke in 1:27.28.
 
Abby Marsh won the 50 free (32.37) and 100 free (1:12.29). And Jordan Bradford won the 200 free (2:33.75) and 500 free (5:24.31).
 
Pittsfield’s girls also swept the relays.
 
Wahconah’s lone win came from Michaela DeFoe in the 100 backstroke, where she clocked a time of 1:22.03.
 
Pittsfield’s boys won, 93-50, with three double winners as well.
 
Greg Fournier won the 200 free in 2:19.78 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:23.15. Liam Mooney won the 200 IM (2:40.85) and 100 butterfly (1:07.85). And Lucas Godwin won the 500 free (5:16.91) and 100 backstroke (1:11.31).
 
Wahconah got a win from Jack Pudlo in the 50 free with a time of 29.33. Pudlo also swam on Wahconah’s victorious 4-by-50 relay quartet (1:59.54).
