Digrigoli, Lenox Fourth at State Championships

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. -- Max Digrigoli carded a 10-over-par 82 Tuesday to lead the Lenox golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Division 3 State Championship at Shining Rock Golf Club.
 
Mashpee's Colin Spencer earned medalist honors with a 2-under 70.
 
Digrigoli finished the day tied for fourth behind Spencer and Thomas Hurley (Sandwich) and Zach Pelzar (Weston), who each carded an 81.
 
Dover-Sherborn won the event with an aggregate score of 344 (56 over); it won a tie-breaker against Weston, which ended up second. Sandwich was third at 64 over, and Lenox finished at 65 over.
 
Mount Greylock placed 11th at 94 over.
 
Devan Patel (89), Clifford Flynn (91) and Ben Haddad (91) rounded out the scoring for Lenox.
 
Owen Petropulos led Mount Greylock with an 88 that ranked him 17th among 84 individuals at the event.
 
The Mounties also scored rounds from Cameron Turner (95), Cayden Conry (98) and Ben Dingman (101).
