Easthampton Volleyball Tops Lenox

LENOX, Mass. – The Lenox volleyball team showed improvement from its first match against Easthampton but dropped the rematch in four sets on Wednesday.
 
Kelly Nicotra delivered seven kills and 18 assists in the 25-20, 26-24, 16-25, 25-17 loss.
 
Emily Barenski anchored the defense with 19 digs.
 
“She really kept us alive and provided many opportunities for our team to rally back,” Lenox coach Steve Laurin said.
 
Kelsey Kirchner had six kills and five blocks, and Abby Winger finished with five kills and four aces.
 
Lenox (6-7) hosts Belchertown on Friday.
