Kirby Leads Lenox Golfers Past Hoosac Valley
LENOX, Mass. – Oliver Kirby birdied three holes on his way to earning medalist honors and leading the Lenox golf team to a 172-204 win over Hoosac Valley on Monday.
Kirby birdied the par-3 third hole, par-4 seventh and par-4 ninth and finished at 41 at Wyndhurst.
All four Lenox scorers finished at 44 or better. Noah Pinsonneault carded a 43, and Mia Freeman and Colman Keator each finished at 44; Freeman birdied the par-4 fourth hole, and Keator started his round with a birdie on the par-4 first hole.
The two teams combined to break par on eight holes.
Zach Mongeon, who led Hoosac Valley with a 42, carded the par-3 third and seventh holes. Brayden Clark birdied the other par-3, the fifth hole.
