Lenox Girls Earn Opening Day Sweep
LENOX, Mass. – Reeva Patel and Bella Giardina earned a three-set win at first doubles Monday as the Lenox girls tennis team opened the season with a 5-0 win over Belchertown.
At second doubles, Lauren Romano and Brooklyn Butler were pushed to a tie break in the first set before sweeping their opponents in the second set.
Lenox also swept the singles matches, dropping just seven games along the way.
Lenox (1-0) hosts Monument Mountain on Tuesday.
