Lenox Girls Sweep PVCICS
LENOX, Mass. – The undefeated Lenox girls tennis team showed its resilience in earning a 5-0 win over Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter on Monday in a battle of the top two teams in Western Massachusetts Class C.
“Incredible work from [No. 1] Katie Shove and [No. 3] Caroline Kump coming back after both being down Set 1 to tie it up one apiece, both going into 10-point tie breakers, and capturing the wins,” Lenox coach Nicole Brooks said.
The Millionaires earned a season sweep of the PVCICS, who they beat, 3-2, the first time around.
Lenox (10-0) is on the road Tuesday to face Mount Greylock.
