Lenox Girls, Boys Have Big Day at Lee

LEE, Mass. – Nora Schoeny led a sweep of the top three places for the Lenox girls Wednesday as the Millionaires picked up three dual meet wins in a four-team meet at Lee.

 

Schoeny crossed the finish line in 20 minutes, 57 seconds, followed by teammates Gianna Love and Hannah Carhart in second and third places, respectively.

 

The next three runners across wore Pittsfield purple as Margaret Hall, Chloe Potash and Mia Hiltpold led the Generals to a dual meet win over the host Wildcats.

 

Lenox also picked up three wins and an individual first place in the boys meet, where Ben Hartwood led the way in 17:45, seven seconds ahead of runner-up “Cohen Zahn of Pittsfield.

 

The boys meet saw all four teams place a runner in the top four.

 

Noah Hassmer finished third for Lee, but J. Hunter Jeffries, in fourth, led the Mount Everett Eagles to a dual meet win over the Wildcats.
