Pause Leads Taconic Past Drury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Damon Pause went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and drove in three runs Monday to lead the Taconic baseball team to a 14-2 win over Drury at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Christian Salzarulo and Ethan O’Donnell each had a double in an eight-hit attack for the Thunder.
 
Quentin Christopher got the start on the mound and went five innings, striking out four and not allowing a run, to earn the win.
 
Pause struck out six and surrendered one earned run in relief.
 
Drury used five different pitchers in the loss.
 
Carson Rylander took the loss on 4 and one-third innings of work. He struck out 10, walked four and allowed five hits.
 
Rylander also had half of Drury’s hits, going 2-for-4 and scoring a run.
 
Drury (2-2) goes to Franklin Tech on Wednesday.
 
Taconic goes to Agawam on Wednesday.
