NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Ryan Dubie threw a one-hitter and struck out 10 on Saturday to lead the Drury baseball team to a 2-0 win over Wahconah at Alcombright Field.

The Blue Devils (2-1) broke up a scoreless pitchers’ duel in the bottom of the fifth with two-out rally.

Chad Lawrence singled to get things started. After he stole second, Reece Racette singled to put runners at the corners.

Racette moved up on defensive indifference to put two men in scoring position for Conor Clark, who doubled to left to bring both men home.

Racette and Clark each went 2-for-3 to lead Drury’s offense.

Hoosac Valley’s one hit came from Zac Swistak, who also stole second.

Devin Kogut was a hard-luck loser, striking out three and walking four in five innings of work. Henry Sniezek pitched two innings of scoreless relief.

The Hurricanes (0-2) go to Mount Greylock on Monday.
