Hampshire Baseball Edges Drury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Liam Pond went 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBIs Tuesday to lead the Hampshire Regional baseball team to a 3-2 win over Drury.

 

Hunter Marceau doubled and drove in both of Drury’s runs. Connor Hinkell went 2-for-3 and Nick Lescarbeau doubled in a five-hit Drury attack.

 

Lescarbeau took the loss on the mound, going five innings and striking out 10 but leaving with a 3-0 deficit.

 

Logan Crockwell struck out three in two scoreless innings of relief.

 

The Blue Devils (5-2) go to Franklin Tech on Wednesday.
