Warren, Eagles Notch 10th Win

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Sean Warren struck out 10, and the Mount Everett baseball team Monday earned its 10th win, a 6-2 victory over Hoosac Valley.
 
Warren allowed two walks, scattered four hits and did not allow an earned run for the Eagles, who punched their ticket for the state tournament with the win.
 
Michael Ullrich tripled and drove in a run. Warren helped his cause by going 1-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.
 
Mount Everett jumped on top early with a run in the bottom of the first and led, 4-0, after three innings.
 
The Eagles (10-6) finish their regular season on Wednesday at Drury.
 
Hoosac Valley (1-12) hosts McCann Tech on Wednesday.
