SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Darius Taliaferro struck out eight and gave up no earned runs Tuesday in a complete-game, six-inning effort on the mound to lead the Mount Everett baseball team to an 11-1 win over Lenox.
 
Taliaferro also doubled and worked three walks at the plate to help his cause.
 
Brady Carpenter led the Eagles’ offense, going 3-for-5 with a triple and four RBIs.
 
Trevor Leonard and Levi Boardman added two hits apiece in an 11-hit attack for Mount Everett.
 
David Kirchner, Evan Albert, Gavin Winger and Mason Daley each had a single for Lenox.
 
The Millionaires (1-3) play their home opener on Saturday afternoon against Wahconah.
 
Mount Everett (4-0) is at Mount Greylock on Thursday.
