Fast Start Propels Mount Everett Baseball Past Mahar

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Justin Foster doubled twice in a 15-hit Mount Everett attack as the Eagles beat Mahar, 17-6, on Wednesday.
 
Mount Everett took control of the game early with a 10-run first inning to take a 10-1 lead.
 
Nathaniel Von Ruden went 3-for-3 with a double, and Hunter DeGrenier went 2-for-2. Michael Ullrich also doubled in the win.
 
Von Ruden, Tyler Candelari, Foster and Heyden Cutlip split time on the mound in the five-inning win.
 
Mount Everett (4-3) goes to North Adams to face McCann Tech on Friday.
