Taconic Uses Three Homers in Win at Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. – Three different Taconic players homered, and the Thunder scored 11 runs in the top of the sixth inning to put away a 19-4 win over Wahconah on Friday.
 
Ed Ferris was 2-for-3 with a homer, a double and three RBIs. Quentin Chrstopher went 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs. And Devin Reynolds came off the bench to hit a pinch-hit grand slam.
 
Gavin O’Donnell was 3-for-5 with a double, and Kyle McGrath went 4-for-4 with a pair of RBIs.
 
Connor Paronto earned the win on the mound, striking out seven in five innings of work. Gavin Maffuccio pitched a scoreless bottom of the sixth.
 
James Rabuse was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs, and Luke Ferguson was 2-for-3 at the plate for Wahconah.
 
Wahconah (5-7) goes to Granby on Tuesday.
 
Taconic (6-6) hosts Ware on Sunday.
