Womble Leads Taconic Baseball in Win over Drury

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Christian Womble went 3-for-4 with a pair of triples and three RBIs Wednesday to lead the Taconic baseball team to an 18-3, five-inning win over Drury.
 
Anton Lazits also went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and had a double in a 12-hit Taconic attack.
 
Nick Taylor earned the win on the mound, striking out four and allowing two earned runs in 4-⅓ innings of work. Brendan Stannard came out to pick up the last two outs.
 
Ben Moulton went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Drury (0-3), which hosts Lenox on Thursday on Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Taconic (4-0) goes to Wahconah on Thursday.
