Lenox Baseball Rallies for Win over Hoosac Valley

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Jacob Munch went 2-for-3 at the plate, and Nicholas Nicotra and Jett Steinman combined on a four-hitter to lead the Lenox baseball team to a 6-3 win over Hoosac Valley on Monday.
 
Munch scored a pair and Steinman drove in a pair at the plate. John Fielding went 2-for-4 for the Millionaires, who scored four unearned runs in the seventh to come back from a 3-2 deficit.
 
John Krol went 2-for-4 with a home run for Hoosac Valley, which got 4-⅓ innings on the mound from starter Devin Kogut, who allowed just one earned run.
 
Nicotra lasted six innings for Lenox, striking out four and allowing four hits and two earned runs. Steinman allowed no hits in a scoreless seventh to earn the win.
 
Lenox (3-4) goes to Pittsfield on Tuesday.
 
Hoosac Valley (2-8) goes to Wahconah on Tuesday.
