Wahconah Routs Hampshire on Road

WESTHAMPTON, Mass. – Sam McLaughlin Thursday gave up no earned runs in six innings of work to lead the Wahconah baseball team to a 15-3 win over Hampshire Regional
 
McLaughlin struck out four in the complete-game win.
 
Scott Hoffman went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBIs, and James Rabuse was 2-for-3 with a double to lead Wahconah’s offense.
 
Joe Hoffman went 2-for-2 in a nine-hit attack for Wahconah, which showed its patience at the plate, earning nine walks.
 
“We did a great job working quality at-bats as well as coming up with ways to get our guys in scoring position to score,” Wahconah coach Collin Parrott said.
 
Wahconah (2-1) goes to Lenox on Saturday.
