Wahconah Wins at Lenox

LENOX, Mass. – Wahconah pitchers Luke Ferguson and Scott Hoffman combined to scatter nine hits in an 8-1 win over Lenox on War Memorial Field on Saturday.
 
Wahconah took advantage of five Lenox errors to score four unearned runs in the win.
 
Hoffman, Ferguson and Aiden Arseneau each doubled in a seven-hit Wahconah attack.
 
Hoffman went 1-for-2 with an RBI and worked two walks.
 
Wahconah got all the offense it needed in the top of the first, when Hoffman doubled in a run with two out and Sam McLaughlin followed with an infield single to bring home Hoffman.
 
David Kirchner and Robbie Bazinet led Lenox’s offense, each going 2-for-3 with a double.
 
Bazinet also struck out 10 and allowed three earned runs in six innings of work on the mound.
 
Lenox (1-4) hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.
 
Wahconah (3-1) hosts Southwick on Tuesday.
