Wahconah Knocks Off Smith Voc

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Jack Hicks tripled and drove in six runs to lead the Wahconah baseball team to an 11-4 win over Smith Vocational.
 
Sam McLaughlin went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Scott Hoffmann singled and drove in two runs in a seven-hit Wahconah attack.
 
Jacob Welch earned the win on the mound, striking out six and allowing no runs in 3 and a third innings of work.
 
Daniel Hoffmann and James Rabuse also pitched for Wahconah, which struck out 11 batters in all.
 
Wahconah (11-3) goes to Monument Mountain on Wednesday.
