Butler, Wahconah Top Drury

DALTON, Mass. -- Pat Butler allowed just one unearned run in 6-⅓ innings on the mound Thursday to lead the Wachonah baseball team to a 6-1 win over Drury.
 
Butler struck out seven, walked five and gave up two hits to earn the win.
 
Wahconah took advantage of its speed on the basepaths, stealing 12 bases. Joe Woronick and Austin Cancilla led the way with three steals apiece; Will Genaway stole two bases.
 
Wahconah (1-1) is home on Saturday morning against Monson in the first round of its tournament.
 
Drury (0-3) goes to Mohawk on Friday.
