DALTON, Mass. – Wahconah’s James Rabuse continued a tough day at the plate for the Monument Mountain baseball team on Saturday, holding the Spartans hitless in a four-inning, 11-0 Wahconah win.

Monument Mountain, which started the day at home against Taconic on Saturday morning, made the trip to Dalton for a late afternoon game necessitated by this season’s rainouts.

Rabuse struck out three and walked two in the four-inning effort.

His offense made the most of its six hits to get the runs needed to end the game early.

Braedyn Melle doubled in a run, and Holden Kotelnicki had a double and two RBIs. Ryan Marauszwski and Luke Ferguson each had a pair of hits.

Three different Monument Mountain pitchers appeared in the game. Jack Bissaillon started and took the loss.

Monument Mountain (9-2) looks to get back in the win column on Monday when Mount Greylock visits.

Wahconah (8-5) goes to Belchertown on Monday.
